After Accident Repair Inspection
An inspection of accident repairs to check that they have been carried out to a satisfactory standard.
Cars look shiny and new when they return from the smash repairer requiring a trained eye to spot any defects or paint flaws. You may not notice substandard repairs until several years later or when you come to sell your car - then it's too late!
The inspection covers panel finish and fit, paint finish, structural repairs, assembly of components and trim repairs.

Roadworthiness/Safety Check Inspection
Looks at brakes (external visual only), steering, suspension, wheels, tyres, exhaust and oil leaks, structural body/chassis components and safety equipment (lights, wipers, horn, seat belts, door latches and seat mountings).
This inspection does not cover the condition of the engine or transmission. Nor does it look at cosmetic aspects of bodywork and trim. If roadworthy the vehicle is road tested to assess performance.

Full Brake Inspection
This inspection examines the condition of brake hoses, pipes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders and calipers. All wheels and brake drums are removed for examination of brake linings.

Cooling System Inspection
The cooling system is pressure-tested where possible and external components are examined. This includes a test for combustion gas entering the system (cylinder head failure).
